Work Based Learning Module, in collaboration with Newport University film and screen media students. A short film based on the heroic journey of two bothers in such for a man eating beast which is terrorising their village. For this short film I was selected to become Costume Designer and Head of the Wardrobe Department, taking on the role as Costume design, costume maker, sourcing costumes, dresser and continuity on set. The experiences gained form this film allowed me to work with a group of professional people and learn to work on location and adapt to changing weather conditions. As it was such a small production I was the only member of the costume department and learn early on to work under pressure and always be aware of what was going on around me.
The film was written and directed by Gavin J Woodward and produced by Dale Wharton both Newport University Students.
